ARCHS' STL Educare: Introduction to Early Childhood Social and Emotional Health
Introduction to Early Childhood Social and Emotional Health This training will give an introduction to social and emotional development and show how important what child care providers do every day is to the growth and development of the children in care. There are many different pieces to the puzzle when supporting a child’s social and emotional growth. Some of the pieces include supporting their brain development, understanding their temperament, assisting them to form attachment, understanding the social and emotional developmental milestones, and helping them build their emotion regulation skills. Funding provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division, Early Childhood and Prevention Services Section.
